out with the old

So we had a good year and a great Christmas.  There was some sickness in the house on Christmas day but everyone had a good time. 

Our year was full of changes.  A finished degree here, a new job there, kids starting new grades and learning new things. So with a great year under wraps, we are looking forward to an awesome 2015!

where did the year go?

We have made a major discovery this year.  We are the busiest people on the planet.  So that's all I can offer about why there were no updates since January, it was not for a lack of doing things, surely.  And it wasn't for a lack of having fun and hilarious times (we are experts at that!).  So apologies for my neglect of blog management.  We'll (that's a royal pronoun, by the way) be better about it 2015.

There will probably be a few posts between now and the new year, just to prove my point (and get back into the practice of blogging).
